French Broad Rafting Expeditions sponsored a trip for Children First on June 19, 2009 down the French Broad River. 

The campers were from Asheville NC and are attending Day Camp with Children First. The kids had a great time on the water.  Jennifer Hampton of Children First, said “most of the kids have never even been in the woods let alone on a whitewater rafting trip”.  The kids were very appreciative of the rafting trip. Each guide from the trip received a handmade thank you card and lots of hugs.
