We are very excited about the biodiesel blend we are using this year in our rafting buses.  It is a blend of 70% vegetable oil and 30% diesel. French Broad Rafting Expeditions started using this particular blend at the end of last season.  Blue Ridge Biofuels www.blueridgebiofuels.com delivers the B-70 blend to our outpost, where we have a tank ready to be filled.  We love the biodiesel product and hope that others will get educated and follow our lead.  We are proud to be the only rafting company out of over one hundred rafting companies in the Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, North  Carolina  who use biodiesel to fuel our fleet. Korey Hampton took the lead on setting up French Broad Raftings biodiesel and recycling progam and French Broad Rafting Expeditions started using biodiesel at the start of the 2007 season.
